Book: Mockingjay

Last night I finished up Catching Fire and started reading Mockingjay. This is the last book in the hunger games trilogy. I have really enjoyed these books but it's crazy to think of someone actually have to go through all that horrible stuff.  I'm not sure I could handle something like that. I'm anxious to see what happens at the end of book 3.
The Hunger Games movie comes out on the 23rd of this month. I look forward to going to see it.

Once this series is over I will be on a mission to find new books I will enjoy. :)

Book: Catching Fire

I just finished The Hunger Games today and started book number 2 of the trilogy. I really enjoyed the first book and towards maybe the middle I was having a very hard time putting the book down. I just wanted to keep reading but I knew I had to make myself stop so I could go to bed or do other things. LOL. I have been reading on both my breaks and lunchtime at work. I know silly but I can't help it I can't wait to find out what's next in the books. When I have been reading I do find myself losing track of time.

I'm already on chapter 3 of the 2nd book and I'm having a hard time putting this book down as well. If I could just stay home and read I would be a very happy girl, but I guess we need to work and make money. Haha.

I can't wait till bedtime so I  can read some more in my book!! I sounds like a dork but I don't care. Haha!

Book: The Hunger Games

I started a new book on Saturday. I have heard many people talk about how these books are really good and you can't put them down. So, I decided to check them out. I haven't gotten far in the first one but I'm anxious to see what the fuss is all about. LOL :) The first movie comes out on March 23, I'm sure I will  be done with the book way before then so I will be ready for the movie.

Summary of this book:

Katniss is a 16-year-old girl living with her mother and younger sister in the poorest district of Panem, the remains of what used be the United States. Long ago the districts waged war on the Capitol and were defeated. As part of the surrender terms, each district agreed to send one boy and one girl to appear in an annual televised event called, "The Hunger Games." The terrain, rules, and level of audience participation may change but one thing is constant: kill or be killed. When her sister is chosen by lottery, Katniss steps up to go in her place.

I look forward to getting more into this book and reading what's it all about. :)
