Jeff & Becky's Wedding

This post is LONG overdue! On December 28th I was happy to shoot a wedding for a friend at work her sister was getting married. This wasn't the traditional type wedding at all but it was small and very cute and personal. It was very nice and I was happy to be part of it.

The wedding was at The Elm's, but they booked a suite for Friday and Saturday and had the ceremony in the suite. There was just a hand full of people there so it was a nice stop to have it.

I have never been to the Elm's before and my friend told me I could go with her Friday night and stay till Sunday in her room. It turned out to be a nice weekend away and capturing a wonderful memory at the same time! The Elm's was nice but I think a little expensive for my taste. Haha!

Got an Upgrade!

Let me first start off with saying this wasn't my idea and I love my 1st wedding ring! My hubby has been saying for awhile now he wants to get me a bigger diamond on our 5 yrs anniversary.....well it's not 5 years just yet but he wanted to get me this ring now just in case in a couple years it wasn't there anymore. :)

I found this ring on Pinterest, I didn't really think it was real or anything but when I clicked on the link and I found the jewelry place that sales them, I was like wow! I showed Shane the ring and he really liked it too. That night after showing him the ring and us looking it up and he said well why don't we just upgrade your ring now instead of at 5 years. I was like wow really are you sure?! Within the next few days he ordered my ring and got it. I loved the ring online, but when I saw it in person I was speechless and it was so much more beautiful! I just love this ring and so happy that my hubby was so nice and upgraded for me.

I still have my orginial wedding ring and I plan on getting a bigger chain so I can wear it as a necklace.

Happy 3rd Anniversary!

Today is our 3rd year wedding anniversary!! I couldn't ask for a better person to spend my life with. We have been through so much good and bad, but we are still sticking together. Haha!

We don't have any special planned for our anniversary. Tonight we are going to dinner at our favorite steak house Texas Roadhouse then just relaxing at home.

I'm looking forward to many more years with my hubby!! :)



Brittany & Nathan's Wedding

Going back again to June.....At the end of June I got to do another wedding. A girl I used to work with her daughter got married. It was such a cute little county wedding. I love the cute but simple weddings. :) The wedding ceremony was outside and lucky the weather was nice, it was little too windy but other than that it was a perfect day for a wedding outside. This was the first wedding I did outside and it turned out good (at least I think, LOL). It took me about a month to get her pictures done but she loved them, which makes me happy. I get so nervous with shooting such a BIG day for someone. :)

 I just loved the idea of the guest sitting on hay bales. Such a cute idea! 

 Their son was so sleepy all he wanted was his mommy. So, there he is sharing the first kiss between mom & dad. :) 

 This is one of my fav's, so glad we got the little guy to stand still so I could capture this quickly.

Angela & Jeremy's Wedding

This spring or summer I haven't done hardly any photo shoots. When I hurt my ankle I couldn't really get out and shoot pictures. LOL. But the shoots I have done have been 2 weddings! Very exciting for me! Both weddings I did were both in June. The first one I did was June 14th . The couple got married in the morning at the court house then in the evening they had a reception with some family and friends at their house. It was a cute and simple gather. I was happy to be there and captures the moments of her special day.

Happy 2nd Anniversary!!

Two years ago today I married my best friend! That was the happiest day of my life!

These past 2 yrs have been amazing and I'm looking forward to many more year to come!!!

This year we didn't do anything big for our Anniversary. Last weekend we celebrated by going to Ren Fest Saturday with the family, that night we out to dinner at our favorite place Texas Roadhouse. After dinner we can me home and sit by the fit pit and had some wine. 

Today we are going to go shopping for some new silverware and then we are going to have a few drinks to celebrate!
