Photo Shoot: Austin Ray - Class of 2013

Back at the beginning of October I had the chance to do my first Senior shoot for 2013. A lady I work with said her son wanted me to do his pictures and I was excited to do them! We headed out to Loose Park and took a ton of pictures. The weekend we did the shoot turned out to be pretty nice it was a little chilly but it was nothing we couldn't handle and we had fun!

Photo Edits

This week I'm editing pictures from a Senior shoot I did back at the beginning of October. I'm hoping to have them done by Friday so I can give them back to the family!

To edit this photo I boosted the color and then made it black & white. I love B&W pictures!

To edit this photo I boosted the color and added dark edges around it.

Photo Shoot: Nick Class of 2012

I had the pleasure of doing another senior shoot on Mother's Day. There are so many people graduating this year that I know it's crazy!

For Nick's senior pictures we headed out to his farm. We spent a few hours walking around taking pictures and I got a ton of them out there.

I made sure to have his picture all finished and edited so he could have them back this week since he is graduating Sunday evening! So I worked on his pictures for a few hours Tuesday night and got them all finished up and I mailed his CD out on Wed. So he should have his pictures today. This is prolly one of the fastest edits I have done but with being so close to graduation I wanted them done quickly for him. :)

Congrats to Nick on his High School Graduation!! :)

Photo Shoot: Sean Class of 2012

I had some family come in town from Arizona a few weeks ago. They wanted to get some Senior pictures done in Kansas City while they were here. I was excited when she asked me if I would do the pictures!

We headed to two different locations to do the picture. The first stop was at The New Temple and then we headed down to Union Station for more pictures.

I had a good time at this shoot and enjoyed seeing some family for a short time while they were here!

Photo Shoot: Dusty Class of 2012

Back on March 24th I had the chance to do a senior photo shoot. A friend of mine had asked me awhile ago to do these but they just weren't sure when they wanted them done. So finally he will be graduating in a few months so it was time to get the pictures done. 

He is graduating from Blue Springs High School. We headed out around 5pm on that Saturday and went all around Blue Springs taking lots and lots of pictures. I had such a great time doing these and I learned about some fun new spots in Blue Springs to take pictures. :)

Photo Shoot: Kasey & Nick

Back on Oct 22nd. I took my sister Kasey and her boyfriend out to do a photo shoot. Kasey wanted to do Fall Senior pictures and also pictures with her boyfriend. Her boyfriend's family has a farm so we headed out there to do some pictures and then went Sar-Ka-Par Trails Park by my house for more pictures. We took a ton that day! I finally got done editing these for her and posted this week. It took me a little while b/c I had other shoots I needed to edit and get back to people so hers kinda got pushed to the back of the line. But no worries they are now done and she is very happy with them.

If you remember back in Sept I did Kasey's first Senior shoot.

She wanted to do shoots both in Summer and Fall.

Brianna's Senior Shoot

A few weekends ago I got to shoot one of my sister's friend Brianna's Senior pictures. We headed out to the West Bottoms and Sar-Ko-Par Trails Park. We took lots of pictures! She was happy with the way the turned out and so was I. It's crazy that my sister and her friend are Seniors in High School already, I remember when they were little kids running around the backyard. Oh how fast they grow up. I have knew Brianna since she was little and now she is all grown up with a daughter of her own, it's crazy! She had her 18 month daughter in some of her pictures as well. That little girl was too cute and she had fun running around playing and taking pictures. Little kids just love the camera and it makes it so fun to shoot them!

Photo Shoot: Kasey Class of 2012

Last Sunday I took my sister Kasey out to do her Senior pictures. I still can't believe my little sister is going to graduate from High School. It's so crazy how big she is! I might just cry. We had a lot of fun doing her pictures and we took over 300 of them! Of course I didn't keep them all but there were tons to go through. I believe I kept a little over 200 of them (wow still a lot of pictures!). I took her to the West Bottoms and Loose Park. We started her pictures around 11am and didn't finish till about 2:30pm. We got a lot of good pictures, she is going to have a hard time picture the ones she wants to hand out to her friends. I know I will have a hard time picking ones to hang around house. She wants to go out again in the Fall when the leaves start falling and changing colors. I think this will be a really pretty time for pictures. I love fall leaves.

This was not easy trying to pick ones to post on here.....So many good ones to choose from. I love way too many!!!
