30 Days to Being Thankful {Day 21} - Baby 'Ian McCall

Day 21: I'm thankful for my friends healthy baby boy Ian Reid McCall. Ian decided to join us in the world on Friday November 16th, he was 3 weeks early. He's a prefect little man and I'm so happy to be apart of his life and such good friends with his parents. They are going to be such wonderful parents!! 

Shane and I decided to wait till they got home from the hospital before going to visit them. I was so excited to meet Ian for the first time! He's such a cutie. I got to hold him and cherish him for about an hour with no sharing him with other people! I could have stayed all day at their house and just held him.

 He was making the silliest faces while he was sleeping the whole time I was there. :)
 

 Finally as I was leaving mommy got him to wake up so I could see his eyes!

Welcome to the world Ian! And Congrats again to Jen & Corey!! 

I can't wait to go back over soon and visit him!

Photo Shoot: Mandy's Maternity

Back at the beginning of September I had the chance to do my very first Maternity shoot. 

I actually decided to give a photo shoot to a friend as a gift for her baby shower. She LOVED the idea of getting maternity pictures done before her baby boy arrived. We set a date and location and made it happen. We decided to do the shoot in Riverside. There is a cute little place that has a pond and waterfall. It turned out to be really pretty and a great spot to do the pictures. The day was perfect too it wasn't too hot or too cold it was just right. 

 

I look forward to meeting her little man Zander and hopefully getting to do new born pictures with him soon!

Welcome Kaelan William McGinnis

I'm happy to announce that my family has a new baby boy!! He arrived on Saturday March 10 @ 4:10am.

Kaelan weighted 6Ibs 14 oz and was 19 inches long.

My cousin Kevin and his fiance Haley are such proud parents!

He's such a little cutie I just wanted to snuggle him all day when I got to hold him! So precious! :)

Kevin and Haley didn't find out what they were having so it was a surprise when he was born.

Here are a few pictures of the new little cutie! I can't wait to see again and just snuggle him. I love holding babies they are so cute. We have to get all the holding in while they are little b/c one they are big the don't like it. Haha :)

Baby Shower for Button!!

Last weekend I attend a friends baby shower. She will be 33 weeks this week and looks so cute prego. I love it! Her and her husband decided not to find out what they were having and it's driving me crazy!! I want to know so bad what is inside her belly. I'm not sure if I could handle not knowing what I was having because I would want to shop and have the room all girly (pink) or all boy stuff (blue). Not being able to shop for a certain thing would drive me nutty. Haha. But I guess some people like that surprise, but I know for sure I would want to know. :) 

Her baby shower turned out so cute and of course lots of goodies for little button when he or she arrives. I took a lot of pictures at the shower. She had a lot of fun opening all her gifts and seeing all the cute things people got for button. I loved some of her expressions on her face.

Photography Assignment: Joys of Childhood

Happy Tuesday everyone! I hope every ones week started out great. My week started out slow...I was so wore out from the weekend and had no energy to focus on anything. Today is a little better so hopefully the rest of the week will be good.
Over the weekend our Photography assignment was shooting "The Joys of Childhood". This assignment was perfect for my weekend b/c I was spent Saturday around kids all day long. We went to Chuck-E-Cheese for my nephews 5th birthday party....I took lots of pictures (will post later this week). Then after that we had another friends birthday party and there were 3 babies there! I love taking pictures of babies they are so fun!
So with all the pictures I had taken over the weekend of children the one that I had to submit for this assignment was just so adorable!

                                         This is Harper and her smile in this picture was just amazing!

This is a great picture for this assignment. Capturing baby smiles are priceless and will always be a joy to look back on!

Our Challenge for the weekend was shooting "Shoes" stay tuned for that post.

Good Times

I hope everyone had a good weekend and is now having a good week. My weekend was great I had a lot of fun. I sure wasn't ready for the work week just yet, but here we are again.
Last week we had a Thursday Happy Hour at our place. It was a fun time and I got to play with the babies there. Yes the babies get to come to happy hour. :) They are just growing so fast it's crazy. I love taking pictures of them every time I see them. It's fun to compare and see how fast they grow and how they change in such little time.

Saturday we had people over for a BBQ. It was a lot of fun. We hung out outside it was hot but not nearly like it has been so we could stand it. We played some Bagg-o's, had some drinks and ate some delicious food! Shane smoked a pork butt and 3 slabs of ribs. Yes we had lots of leftovers but we are slowly eating it down.

I'm always taking pictures as you can see..... I just love photography and I have been trying to do more of it for practice! This summer I really wanted to get out more and do more pictures, but with it being so HOT I haven't wanted to go outside much. As people come over or we go places I always try to capture some pictures for fun. Saturday I got to capture some very CUTE picture of Baby Harper. She is getting so big from the last time I took pictures of her. She is too cute!

Babies, Babies!!!

Everyone just loves babies! Over the weekend I got to play with 2 new baby girls. One was a few months old and the other was just 12 days old. They both were so stinkin' cute and such good babies. I thought it would be fun to take pictures of them. I just love pictures of little babies. You never know what kind of expression you can caught them doing. It's so fun! :)

This is Baby Harper Lynne Falls. She was born on June 13, 2011.

I edited this picture by making it black and white then just making her dress colored.

Her little eyes were trying to peek out and see everyone!

 This pictures was also edited to black & white and the flowers just made colored. I loved how this looks!

Doesn't she look so sassy with her hand on her face an a little smile. Love it!
