30 Days to Being Thankful {Day 30} - December

Day 30: I'm thankful that tomorrow is December 1st! I have been looking forward to Christmas since October and I can't wait to celebrate with our families! 

Now that November is over and I'm done with posting of 30 days of being Thankful, I can now get caught up on some other stuff I have been meaning to blog about. :)

30 Days to Being Thankful {Day 29} - Being Crafty

Day 29: I'm thankful for being so what of a crafty person. :) I have tons of craft stuff and I enjoy making lots of fun things. I haven't been doing a lot of craft stuff lately but I still love it and enjoy it every time I sit down to make something. 

30 Days to Being Thankful {Day 28} - Candles

Day 28: I'm thankful for all the candles we have in our house to make it smell so good! I have become a huge fan of candles and accessories from Bath and Body works. There are so many fun smells and I love that our house smells different all the time! 

30 Days to Being Thankful {Day 27} - My Washer & Dryer

Day 17: I'm thankful for our washer and dryer. I have always hated going to the laundry mat and I'm so grateful we have been able to purchase such a wonderful set. I love them and I enjoy doing our laundry weekly in them! 

30 Days to Being Thankful {Day 26} - Cooking

Day 26: I'm thankful for food. Shane and I have both een enjoying cooking more since being in our new house. We have been trying lots of new things lately and they have all turned out great!

30 Days to Being Thankful {Day 25} - Christmas

Day 25: I'm thankful for Christmas decorating! The Friday after Thanksgiving Shane and I put up all the Christmas decorations (well at least inside). I'm thankful we are able to decorate how we want in our new home! Pictures to come soon! Today since it was so nice outside we spent the afternoon putting up lights outside. :)

30 Days to Being Thankful {Day 24} - Medicine

So yesterday I was pretty under the weather and not feeling well, so I didn't the chance to post what I'm thankful for..

Day 24: I'm thankful for Medicine... Since I was sick yesterday I was taking sinus and allergy meds all day so I could get better! And today I'm all better. I'm thinking it was just allergies that had me down. Every few months I get sick and feel like I'm getting a cold but the next day I will be just fine. Which I will take that any day over being sick for a long period of time. :) 

30 Days to Being Thankful {Day 23} - Fronteras

Day 22: I'm thankful for our favorite restaurant Fronteras. Before Shane and I moved into our house we started checking out the restaurants near by that we haven't been to yet. We came across this Mexican one that people kept telling us about, so one day we checked it. After a couple times of eating there we now go there every Friday night for dinner and drinks! Love it! 

30 Days to Being Thankful {Day 22} - Thanksgiving

Day 22: I'm thankful for Thanksgiving. I enjoy the time spent with both Shane and I's family on this day! We get to cook lots of yummy food and eat till we are so stuffed we can't eat anymore! 

This is the first year Shane and I will be hosting Thanksgiving in our new home! We both are very excited about this. There will definitely be pictures to come! 

30 Days to Being Thankful {Day 21} - Baby 'Ian McCall

Day 21: I'm thankful for my friends healthy baby boy Ian Reid McCall. Ian decided to join us in the world on Friday November 16th, he was 3 weeks early. He's a prefect little man and I'm so happy to be apart of his life and such good friends with his parents. They are going to be such wonderful parents!! 

Shane and I decided to wait till they got home from the hospital before going to visit them. I was so excited to meet Ian for the first time! He's such a cutie. I got to hold him and cherish him for about an hour with no sharing him with other people! I could have stayed all day at their house and just held him.

 He was making the silliest faces while he was sleeping the whole time I was there. :)
 

 Finally as I was leaving mommy got him to wake up so I could see his eyes!

Welcome to the world Ian! And Congrats again to Jen & Corey!! 

I can't wait to go back over soon and visit him!

30 Days to Being Thankful {Day 20} - Sleep

  Day 20: I'm thankful for sleep. I love to sleep!! We are on vacation this week and I'm loving the  fact that I don't have to wake up to an alarm at 6:00 am. 

Pizza/Movie Night

I didn't get a chance to post last night about Pizza/Movie night, but I'm doing it now! 

We had a friend over last night to join us for pizza/movie night. He enjoyed our homemade pizza!

We made pepperoni and bacon

We watched The Campaign for our movie. It was pretty funny! 

30 Days to Being Thankful {Day 19} - Baking

Day 19: I'm thankful for baking. They past month or so Shane and I have really gotten into baking more. We have been making breads, dough and all other kinds of yummy stuff. Since we have moved into our house we have really enjoyed cooking more. Some days we will spend all day or all night in the kitchen making stuff. It feels great and I love it! 

30 Days to Being Thankful {Day 18} - Nice Weather

Day 18: I'm thankful for this nice weather we are having in November! I'm loving this weather and can't believe how nice it has been lately. Normally in November we are all bundled up in our coats freezing. LOL. I will keep this weather for as long as it wants to stay around. :)

30 Days to Being Thankful {Day 17} - Shopping

Day 17: I'm thankful for shopping. Today the husband and I have been out shopping all morning. We got some stuff for us and we also got some Christmas shopping done! 

30 Days to Being Thankful {Day 16} - Facebook

Day 16: I'm thankful for Facebook. I know someone just think this site is silly and dumb (and yes it can be at  times), but I'm thankful that I have been able to find people on there I have talked to in years and be able to catch up some and see how they are in their life. It's nice to be able to find friends or even family you haven't seen or talked to in years! It's kinda amazing how a website can bring people together. 

30 Days to Being Thankful {Day 15} - My Camera

Day 15: I'm thankful for my camera. I have Sony DLSR camera and I just love it. It takes wonderful pictures and I love taking tons of photos of anything and everything. I'm hoping one day I will be able to upgrade to a newer Sony DLSR that is out. :)

30 Days to Being Thankful {Day 14} - My Car

Day 14: I'm thankful for my car. If I couldn't afford my wonderful car I would be walking everywhere. LOL. This is the 2nd car I have had since I was 16. My parents helped me get my first car and I'm thankful to say that I was able to buy this car all on my own. I love it! And so thankful to have such a wonderful car today. 

Book: Dearly Devoted Dexter

It's been awhile since I have posted what book I'm reading these days...but I'm still on the Dexter series. I've only made it to book 2 because I have been kinda bored with this series. I feel like changing my series but it's hard because I feel like I need to give these books a chance. I love the TV series but the books just aren't the say (well to me anyways). I haven't decided if I want to just drop this series or give book 3 a try and see how that is. I'm not done with book 2 just yet but hopefully soon I will be. 

30 Days to Being Thankful {Day 13} - Holiday's

Day 13: I'm thankful for the Holiday's. I'm always happy to spend so much time with our families when the holiday season hits. 

30 Days to Being Thankful {Day 12} - My Grandpa

Day 12: I'm thankful for my Grandpa! He has done so much for me in my life and I'm so grateful to him for all his help that I have needed. I couldn't ask for a more wonderful grandpa! I love you!

Pizza/Movie Night

I have been posting about Pizza/Movie Night for a few weeks now. We originally set this for Thursday nights. Since Shane has started making his own pizza dough it got to be a timely process to fix pizza and watch a movie. So we just moved it to Sunday night and tonight is our first night having it on Sunday. It should be a lot more easier now since we have the whole day to get the dough started and everything ready.   

On this cold fall day we have been lazy and watching movies all day! I have Shane talked into taking me to see the Breaking Dawn Part 2 when it comes out. So we have been watching all the one prior and getting ready for the new one! I'm so excited to see this movie and can't wait! We are off the whole week of Thanksgiving so we will go see it then! :) Today we got through Eclipse and Breaking Dawn Part 1 now we are all ready for Part 2!!

This evening our movie we will be watching while eating some yummy pizza is The Amazing Spider-Man. hopefully its good!

Supreme pizza w/ Pepperoni, Bacon, Green Pepper, Mushrooms and Cheese! Yum!
