Happy 1 Year Anniversary!!!!

Sunday Sept 25, 2011 was our 1 year wedding anniversary! I can't believe it's been a year already. WOW time flies! We got back in town from Mexico Friday the 23rd and just had the weekend to get ready to be back to the real life. So Sunday for our Anniversary we watched movies all day then went to dinner at Texas Roadhouse our favorite steak restaurant. It was a good day and I couldn't have married a more wonderful man! I truly love him and can't imagine life without him.

We have had a great year and I'm looking forward to many more!!! We also had a great time on our vacation. I will post pictures as soon.

VACATION, VACATION!!!!!

On Vacation from Saturday 9/17 to Friday 9/23!!!

Tomorrow is the day we leave for Mexico!!!

Our flight leaves at 8:15am.

I will not be posting until after I return.

Mexico in 2 day!!!

Vacation is almost here!!! I'm so excited to be going on vacation in just 2 days! I can't believe it's already here. I feel like just yesterday we were like just 72 more day to go. I have been super busy this week at work trying to get my stuff done for the week I will be on vacation. Let me tell you I'm wore out from all this work! I hope I got everything covered but you know something is always missed. LOL.
This vacation is much needed for both Shane and I. We are so ready for a week of doing nothing and relaxing! The weather down in Mexico for our week looks wonderful 90's all week. Lots of beach and pool time for us.....Maybe I will even get a tan down there.

Photo Shoot: Kasey Class of 2012

Last Sunday I took my sister Kasey out to do her Senior pictures. I still can't believe my little sister is going to graduate from High School. It's so crazy how big she is! I might just cry. We had a lot of fun doing her pictures and we took over 300 of them! Of course I didn't keep them all but there were tons to go through. I believe I kept a little over 200 of them (wow still a lot of pictures!). I took her to the West Bottoms and Loose Park. We started her pictures around 11am and didn't finish till about 2:30pm. We got a lot of good pictures, she is going to have a hard time picture the ones she wants to hand out to her friends. I know I will have a hard time picking ones to hang around house. She wants to go out again in the Fall when the leaves start falling and changing colors. I think this will be a really pretty time for pictures. I love fall leaves.

This was not easy trying to pick ones to post on here.....So many good ones to choose from. I love way too many!!!

Photography Challenge: Freestyle

This weekends challenge was just Freestyle shooting. It was time to just head out and shoot whatever we came across instead of having an actually theme to shoot. I did a lot of picture taking this weekend. It was lots of fun! The picture I decided to use for this challenge was one taken from my sisters Senior Shoot down at the West Bottoms. I thought this would be a prefect photo to share in remembering 10 years ago of 9/11. I just love this picture and am so glad I had to chance to capture a moment like this!

Weston

Saturday morning Shane and I got up and took a motorcycle ride out to Weston, MO. It was such a great morning for a bike ride. It was chilly but not too chilly it was just right! I had never been there and I wanted to take some scenery pictures. This little town was so cute I loved it. I got some good pictures and we did a little shopping, nothing big since we were on the bike. I got some fall candles and I just love them.
I want to start making more trips to places to take pictures and just to see all the different places out there!

Photography Assignment: Camera Phone Shots

Our assignment for the weekend over at Digital Photography School was "Camera Phone Shots". Instead of using our normal camera to take pictures we are to use our cell phone camera. This assignment was actually pretty easy for me since I always have my cell phone with me and over the weekend we had plenty of activities going on I could take pictures of.

The picture I decided to use for this weekends assignment was from Shane out playing Disc Golf.
