First Kickball Game (Pitch, Please!)

Shane and I joined a Kickball Team for this fall with some of our friends. Our first game was last night, and let me tell you I didn't expect to have SO much fun! We had a blast playing our first game and the team we played made it much more fun to be there.
Before the game some of us decided to go to The Other Place and grab some dinner and a few drinks before heading out game to our 8:30pm. That was a fun pregame meeting and a great start to our first game.
We actually won our first game and we were so excited about this. I believe the score was 5-2 but some other team members say something different but we will find out for sure when they post the scores online. :) Either way we won and that's awesome to start off the season!

After our game some of us went to the bar to celebrate our first game and of course our WIN. We invited the other team to join us b/c they were awesome to play our 1st game! Lets hope all the other teams are this much fun! We are looking forward to playing every Friday!

I Feel Fall Coming.....

I'm so glad the heat has decided to leave us and bring on this cooler weather. I'm loving it!! The windows opened in the evening, walks at night and the smell of crisp fresh air. Awe Fall Time. Kira and I have definitely been enjoying walks more that we can stand to be outside. It's been wonderful walking every night after work and not sweating and just enjoying this cool weather.With fall finally coming I'm ready to get our house smelling like it....Last weekend at the store I got some pumpkin spice candles and I can't wait to get more fall scents this weekend to put up in the house. I love the smell of fall. I'm also thinking of decorating more this year but we will see if I make that happen. Fall may now be my favorite season, I love it!!!

Kira loves when the windows are opened....She just lays on the couch and looks out the window. She has tried to claw her way out once b/c she wanted something. Little Brat. HaHa!

The back door is her spot as well but she usually lays on the floor looking like a frog. :)

And of course you can't have nice weather without the husband doing a little grilling.

I hope everyone has been enjoying this nice weather as much as I am! I'm looking forward to this weekend as well with nice weather. I will be outside as much as I can.....and you can beat I will be taking pictures of whatever I can find. ;)

As more practice to my photography life I will be taking pictures of whatever I can get my hands one. All the practice I can get is the best! I'm really loving my camera more and more each day! I just love playing around and taking pictures of whatever is right there.

So tonight I'm going to share some of our dinners from this week! Yummy Yummy.......

For Labor Day we decided to grill out. So we picked up some starts from the store and enjoyed a nice cook out in the wonderful Holiday weather!

Loose Park

A couple of weekends ago when I did  Alexis & Zayne's Photo Shoot at Loose Park I took some pictures of the pretty scenery around the park. I really liked doing the photo shoot there it was so big and was great for getting different backgrounds and scenery for the pictures. I'm going to be taking my sister there for some of her Senior pictures this weekend (stay tuned for pictures). This of course will be one of the couple places I plan on taking her. :) I'm very excited to do her picture and it will be so fun.

I think on the weekends I want to start going to different places and just shoot some pictures. I think this will help me get more involved and get better at taking pictures. I'm really excited to be getting more involved with pursuing Photography! I love pictures so I think this career will fit me prefect! I just need lots of practice and I will be a pro before I know....LOL ;).

I'm also looking forward to going to Mexico I know I will get some awesome pictures down there! I will be anxious to share when we get back....We leave in just 10 day!

Photography Challenge: Doors

This weekends challenge for my online Photography School was to shoot Doors. My only challenge for this was to make sure my dog didn't run off when she was looking out the door. LOL. She is a ball of energy and if the door is opened she will run out and run around the neighborhood. So I had to make sure to keep her from running off and getting a good shoot of the door. :)

But Idid it! Here are my pictures from this weekends "Door" Challenge.

T-Rex w/ Lexan

My nephew turned 5 back on the 23rd and for his birthday Shane and I decided to take him to the T-Rex Cafe as his gift. We wanted to do something different for him instead of clothes and toys like always. We thought he would enjoy this.
Last Sunday was the day we took him there. At first he was scared of the huge dinosaurs but the more time we were in there he warmed up to them. He actually was putting his head inside the one by our table. HAHA! By the time we left he didn't want to go he wanted to watch them all. LOL. He had  a good time there. He got to dig in the sand for dino fossils he really enjoyed that. I think this was a great birthday gift for him!

Photo Shoot: Lexan

Last Sunday I took my nephew out to do a photo shoot for this 5th birthday. I still can't believe he is 5! CRAZY! I decided to take him to a cute park by our house it's called Sar-Ko-Par Trails Park. Shane and I had our engagements pictures done there last year. Lexan had a fun time and he is such a little cheeser for the camera. I love it! After our photo shoot we took him to the T-Rex Cafe as our birthday gift to him (Photos to come later).
